Check out the June issue here
I heard a lot about Satyamev Jayate and couldn’t help breaking my not watching television at all rule. It seemed like a good watch and now my not watching TV rule has been ended all though not for Satyamev Jayate. Anyways, I just watched one episode of the much talked and excessively publicised show hosted by Aamir Khan. It was the one where they exposed the ill-practices in the medical sector of the country, the profession we mere humans consider holy. And the one after which Mr Khan was asked to apologise to the doctors across the country. And that was it, I could not bring myself to watch the next episode. It was too dramatic and thrown out of proportion.
I mean I do feel bad for all those people who went to wrong doctors, got the wrong treatment and had to bear the consequences for no fault of theirs. It was heart rending to watch the father-daughter duo who lost their wife-mother because of a wrong treatment. It was just not justified, but what my point is do we all not know all this already? And even if the channel is enlightening the masses regarding these sensitive issues which by the way we already know about, what action is being taken?
Tell me if Aamir Khan has incited anyone in the present government or concerned authorities to take action, we create a havoc of issue we are aware of after a superstar sheds a few tears on the screen with the victims. Prove me wrong about this, I will be more than happy. By the time sun rises next day we have long forgotten it. No action is taken and the cameras are already rolling for the next episode.
Yes, we do know the doctors are treating wrong, the lawyers are lying, police is no longer the protector, there is child abuse, human trafficking, rapes and every single heinous crime happening under the sky. But we need to know how many Aamir Khans have to cry themselves before something happens, before we see the light of the day. Until then it just seems the game to get more TRPs every weekend.
We are coming with our June issue nearly ten days before schedule. That is, because a few of us at EP!C are going out for vacations and also because as EP!C has grown, a need for back-end maintenance and a facelift has arisen. The site will have an all new look when we are back. We leave you with a good reading dose until then.
Happy reading!

The EP!C
thats true….here i think the motto of the show is to just create awareness…the show shows place where you can get help in such a situation…atleast some awareness is better than nothing…n Amir is on the show just that his wife’s name can come up in the credits…no one else will do it for her hehe….
hahaha yes i guess thats the only positive of the show nothing more to it.
ohh yea btw good luck for ur next issue od EP!C
